I am proud to say that we are the only content driven highly curated platform representing prestigious selection of designers and merchandise from Central and Eastern Europe (or as it is sometimes referred to – post-Soviet) and our content is very popular. But what I am most proud of is our designers. They are the core of Fashion Bloc.
Yesterday I accidentally found the traffic source to Fashion Bloc from Vogue.com. I know it happens – someone mentions your name, brand or website and you actually never find out about it. But Vogue.com (not even Vogue.it, who is usually very supportive of new names in fashion) – that is something to miss!
Quite a few designers who joined Fashion Bloc movement have been noticed and praised by international fashion editors. The raising interest in designer fashion from new fashion capitals give me confidence we are on the right track.
So yes, going back to Vogue. In September’s trends article called ‘The New Adult Uniform Is Light on Teen Angst and Heavy on Grown-Up Style’ the author Marjon Carlos shares some shopping ideas with a reference for Fashionbloc.co.uk featuring Georgian designer Anouki dark blue boots with hand embroidered crystals– these ones!
‘…you’re meeting your girlfriends for drinks adorned in Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini’s pussy-bow dress and Anouki embellished combat boots’, says the author. We couldn’t agree more!
Vogue, our love for Anouki shoes is mutual.
