At 27, Lithuanian born super model Edita Vilkeviciute has debuted among the highest-paid fashion models in the world, is heading ‘Top Sexiest’, ‘Industry Icons’ and ‘Money Girls’ lists on Models.com and has been featured in all leading fashion magazines, having worked with biggest fashion houses in the industry.
Born and raised in Kaunas, Lithuania, Edita was discovered by a model agent while on vacation with her parents at the Lithuanian seaside. Her break-through in the fashion industry dates back to 2006, when at the age of 16 she walked for Just Cavalli during Milan Fashion Week. Ten years fast forward and she has covered all major fashion magazines, has been campaigning for Calvin Klein, Bvlgari, Roberto Cavalli, H&M, Victoria’s Secret, having worked with Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, and other fashion giants. Edita, for her natural beauty and distinctive features, is considered to be the best of both worlds – high-end and commercial fashion, hence the success.
Ranked No.17 of the world Top 20 Highest-Paid models of 2015 by Forbes.com, Edita’s earnings reached $3.5 million last year.
Edita is definitely not shy of her perfect natural beauty and nudity, having posed for such eponymous names as Pirelli magazine or French Lui. One of the most interesting of her experiments – 2014 erotic fashion film directed by Gordon Von Steiner for the 25 Magazine, edited by another fashion model Anja Rubik.
