I hope this letter finds you in great spirits. I hope you’re enjoying the summer and every minute of your day. I can’t wait to spend more time with you…
‘Dear Freedom’ is an opening line to the love letter addressing one’s inner freedom. The freedom to be yourself and to express your individuality.
‘Dear Freedom’ is an unusual name for a fashion brand. But nothing is usual about the contemporary womenswear designer brand from Lithuania. Simple at first sight and extraordinary when you look closer. Just like all of us, unique.
Coming from a small Northern European country by the Baltic Sea, two friends, Rasa and Kristina, founded ‘Dear Freedom’ to embody their mutual values: an inner freedom of being yourself and expressing your individuality.
On a mission to change how fashion speaks, Rasa and Kristina carefully select the purpose and a story for each piece. Every product in a line is simple yet special –with its unique feature, unexpected shape, silhouette or colour. This independent fashion brand has achieved success by creating what every woman needs: a simple yet unusual garment with individuality and of the finest quality.
This young women-led company is a rare combination of a luxury quality at an affordable price. The highest quality natural materials, such as silk, wool and cotton, are sourced from the Italian and British producers, all products are cut and sewn in a boutique family-run factory in Lithuania.
‘Dear Freedom’s’ new collection is emotionally inspired by the Creative Director Kristina’s travels in South-East Asia. You will not find Asian aesthetic traces or beachwear pieces in the collection, but you will feel the freedom and positive emotions inspired by the sea, nature and cities, and heart-warming smiles.
Naturally, a new collection is light and bright, with dominant blue colours and white and blue stripes. To emphasise the dominance of blue, SS18 collection colour palette is enriched with white, black and yellow combinations. A statement piece, which perfectly embodies brand’s identity, is a short yellow coat with a clear-cut structure.
A limited edition collection includes essential wardrobe pieces and could become a complete set for the season: dresses, blazers, blouses, trousers, a jumpsuit and a coat in positive, bright colours: white, sapphire blue, peppermint, aqua, burnt orange, striped blue and white, yellow and black.
