my story
I work in the industry that has been responsible for the degradation of our natural resources and is disrespectful of our societies. As much as I love craftsmanship, innovation and creative talent, I deeply care about social justice and the prospects of our planet earth. I decided to make it my mission to help build better business practices with people and the planet at the centre.
Values
- - Transparency
- - Collaboration
- - Positive Impact
- - Diversity and Inclusivity
I ADD VALUE IN THREE MAIN AREAS
Strategy and Recruitment
I started my career in fashion as a recruiter in 2012. Soon enough I learned that this sector lacked transparency and diversity. With this in mind, I started working with emerging designers lacking industry contacts, promoting sustainable business practices. Eventually, I made it my priority to help grow purpose-driven businesses and their diverse teams.
Education
I am a strong believer in continuous education. I also think that the best learning approach is when the industry meets academia, especially in the creative industries. I am proactively engaging with academia as a guest lecturer and have co-created an international education project for fashion entrepreneurs Fashionbusiness.education.
Investment
As an investor, I partner with entrepreneurs who solve real industry problems feeling pride in helping their businesses grow as a strategic partner. I invest in transparent business models and diverse teams making a long-term positive impact.
Companies and investors who are bold enough to pioneer the change and invest in the future will transform the industry and be rewarded.
